The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust will be carrying out interviews at the British Anaesthetic and Recovery Nurses Association (BARNA) Annual Conference on the 6th June 2014 therefore if you are interested and will be attending the conference you will be guaranteed an interview.
The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country and enjoys a national reputation for the quality of its services in healthcare. The Trust comprises of four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington, Oxford and the Horton Hospital in Banbury.
As a regional trauma centre the Operating theatres offer a wide range of general and specialist clinical services and as a base for medical education, training and research, is a dynamic centre on which to build upon clinical experience and includes professional development in neurosurgery, vascular, spinal, craniofacial, plastics, ENT, and paediatric surgery.
The Trust is looking for highly motivated Operating Department Practitioners/ Registered Nurses / Paramedics for scrub /anaesthetic assistance / recovery roles. Any prospective applicant requires good interpersonal skills, the ability to provide specialised assistance in these clinical specialities and who enjoy working as team players. A flexible attitude is required to service demands and demonstrate the ability to assess, plan and implement care for perioperative patients
You will work collaboratively to promote the delivery of evidence based patient care.
Full time & Part Time posts are available which includes a commitment to day / night rotation, Bank Holiday and weekend working and participation in an On Call rota.
