Third International ICPAN Conference

Third International ICPAN Conference “Sharing and Caring- Inspiring Global Connections” and the Inaugural Meeting of the International Collaboration of PeriAnaesthesia Nurses, Inc.

Copenhagen, Denmark. September 9, 2015: The Danish Association of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Recovery Nurses is proud to be hosting more than 400 delegates from 20 countries at the 3rd ICPAN conference, Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen, from September 9th-12th, 2015.

 

The aim of the conference is SHARING initiatives in education, research, management and evidence-based practiced, and CARING for the perianaesthesia clients of all ages, who undergo procedures requiring general anaesthesia and/or sedation.

The organizers have a full agenda set out for us with hospital tours, reception, banquet, meetings, workshops and sessions, plus for the first time an interactive International Forum for the delegates to bring forward concerns and issues affecting perianaesthesia nursing world-wide.

This extraordinary gathering of international perianaesthesia nurses will launch the fledgling  Collaboration which has been developed by a visionary team of six perianaesthesia nurses from Australia, Canada, Denmark, England, Ireland and the United States of America.

The two previous international conferences took place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (2011) and Dublin, Ireland (2013). Hundreds of Registered Nurses from Clinical,Educational, Management and  Research worksites including acute care hospitals and university settings,  will celebrate the achievement  of establishing this international association.

The inaugural meeting of the International Collaboration of PeriAnaesthesia Nurses, Inc. (ICPAN, Inc.)  will take place on September 12th, 2015 at 1215-1330 PM, Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel.
