Transforming the impact of nursing on global health and care: an agenda-setting international conference

Commemorating the bicentenary of Florence Nightingale’s birth this international conference will discuss how nursing can transform global health and care in the future. Florence Nightingale used innovation and data to change patient care, improve health outcomes and professionalise nursing. Her legacy continues to inspire and motivate nurses around the world.

The Nightingale2020 programme gives nurse leaders the tools they need to make an impact through their work, to build value in the nursing profession, to use health tech in patient care and to improve global health and care for the next generation.

The Florence Nightingale Foundation, The Burdett Trust for Nursing and Dods Group all recognise the vitally important role played by nurses and midwives in delivering against global healthcare goals. We are delighted to be working together to deliver this important and timely event in the 200th centenary year of Florence Nightingale’s birth.

Nightingale2020 delegates will experience keynote presentations from international nurse leaders, gain understanding of the latest developments in global health ambitions and be inspired by a high-quality symposium, curated by a scientific committee and including academic papers, debates and workshops.
