Pain Management Workshop

Bought to you by the RCNi and Knowledge4Nurses, the workshop promises to improve nurses skills and knowledge in pain management with fun, educational interactive sessions which leave each nurse fully prepared to implement their learning into their job
The course is CPD-accredited and is limited to 25 places. You will leave armed with knowledge on assessing pain, the best drugs to use, techniques on how to manage pain and the best way to handle pain in patients with difficult circumstances.
Who should attend and why?
The workshop is suitable for all registered nurses, including midwives, who work in an area where pain management is essential to their role. This may be a surgical ward, A&E department, assessment suites, ambulatory care, theatres and recovery, pre-assessment…anywhere where clinical skills are used to effectively assess and manage acute pain. You may be new to the acute pain service and looking to learn more about the acute pain teams role. Whatever your role is within the acute setting, pain assessment and management skills will never be wasted!
